Born in 1990, Max began his ascent to musical prowess at the age of two, when he started tinkering on his family's keyboard by himself. When he was five years old, he began taking lessons under Michelle Lin, who would become his close teacher and mentor for the next twelve years. Currently attending school at U.C. Berkeley, Max is pursuing a B.A. degree in Music, as well as a B.S. in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science. Besides his passions for music, Max enjoys boxing, judo, playing computer games, and parkour.
